Research, Innovation and Quality Improvement (RIQI) event—8–9 July 2025

Now in its 10th year, the Research, Innovation and Quality Improvement (RIQI) Event celebrates projects across our Trust that bring to life our fifth value—determined to develop.

This year's event takes place at the Chelsea site, showcasing a record number of 100 abstracts, with strong engagement from both nursing and medical colleagues.

The theme this year is NHS 3 Big Shifts—community, prevention, digital.

Tue 8 July

  • 17:00–19:30—Research evening (Gleeson Lecture Theatre/Atrium)
    Keynotes and presentations from leading researchers on how the NHS can respond to the 3 Big Shifts—followed by networking in the Atrium.

Wed 9 July

  • 10:00–12:00—CW Innovation showcase (CW Innovation Hub)
    Meet our Horizon Fellows, explore live demos and case studies, and discover how innovation is shaping the future of care.
  • 12:00–17:00—RIQI main event (Gleeson Lecture Theatre/Atrium)
    A packed afternoon of Trust-led improvement projects across community health, prevention, and digital transformation—including poster displays, presentations and awards.
